Sunday September 27th was a night to remember. We had a full moon, a super moon, a blood moon and full eclipse all at once! After a supercharged Sunday Jazz Jam at Double Roads we decided to continue the party, and enjoy the rare event happening, and what better place to see it than right around the corner at the beach! And, what better spot to take everyone from Double Roads to carry on the party… the namesake, Double Roads! With a keg of Blue Moon beer and some food in tow, we headed on down the the old Double Roads to throw a beach party and watch the full moon just like the old days! Double Roads in its heyday was known for spontaneous beach parties with bonfires, brews and booze!  So we decided to have some fun and return to the old spot and throw a impromptu kegger and invite all of our friends! We had such a blast! There was free food and beer (courtesy of Double Roads Tavern) along with some good music and the gorgeous Blood Moon high in the sky! For many, this was a flashback to the good ole days here in Jupiter and Juno beach when this was the norm on any given night. You never knew who you would run into here. There were times when it was 10 to 15 people down on the beach and maybe a handful up top on Double Roads or some weekends when there must have been a 100 people about! It really was a special time in Jupiters history and we hope to continue this spirit and keep the mecca alive in memory with more events like this in the future.
